If you frequently miss or cancel lessons with short notice Monterey Song School reserves the right to discontinue services.
If your instructor must cancel your session for any reason they will attempt to coordinate a make up class within a reasonable time frame.
(for recurring weekly students) If you cannot coordinate a make up class with your instructor within a reasonable time frame the following months lessons will be prorated.
(for single session bookings) Your lesson will be rescheduled to the following week. If no reasonable make up time can be found within a 30 day window you will be refunded in full.
(PLANNED HIATUS) If you wish to pause lessons and keep your time slot when you return you may.
In order to reserve your time slot you must prepay for the lesson on your anticipated return date.
You can pause lessons for up to 3 months, and still keep your time slot.
If you choose to discontinue lessons after your hiatus you forfeit the prepaid lesson.
SONGCRAFTING COURSE CANCELLATION AND ABSENCE POLICIES (Group Classes)
If you do not show up for a group class, such as a Songcrafting class, for any reason, then you forfeit the lesson fee.
If the class meets online you may request a recording of the session. However, these recordings are provided at the instructors discretion and are not guaranteed.
If your instructor must cancel class then the class and all subsequent classes will simply be pushed out 1 week.
If for some reason a class is cancelled at the instructors request, and that makes it impossible for you to attend the make up session, or receive a recording of the class then you will be refunded the amount of the single class missed.
Instructors will work, within reasonable limits, to provide accommodations to all students. Those “reasonable limits“ are set by and defined by the instructors sole discretion. Instructors reserve the right to refuse special requests for accommodations if those requests will impede the ability of the instructor or other students to partake fully in the course.
